The article promotes the idea that translatology and imagology – tangential exegetical fields. They study the artistic image as the main component of literary productions; face, appearance, identity profile of a nation or ethnic groups implanted in a certain allolingual space. The vision of the translated literary treasure, of the artworks acquired by a certain country and the insight into other particularities of the reality constitute the community of objects of study that determine the tangency of the nominated research fields. It is obvious that a nation will form an image, a picture of a certain demographic entity if it knows its literaryartistic treasure and other defining components. Therefore, translatology and imagology are responsible for ensuring the supervision of the most representative literary-artistic works in the receiving context, in line with other attributes, and to be professionally translated and interpreted.

În articol se promovează ideea că traductologia şi imagologia sunt domenii exegetice tangenţiale. Ele au ca obiect de studiu imaginea artistică în sens larg – component principal al producţiilor literare; chip, înfăţişare, profil identitar al unui popor sau etnii implantate într-un anumit spaţiu alolingv. Anume viziunea de ansamblu asupra tezaurului literar tradus şi a operelor de artă achiziţionate de o altă ţară constituie acea comunitate a obiectelor de studiu care determină tangenţa domeniilor de investigaţie nominalizate. Se ştie că o naţiune îşi va forma un tablou real despre o anumită entitate demografică dacă o va cunoaşte prin veritabilul ei tezaur literar-artistic şi alte componente definitorii. Prin urmare, traductologia şi imagologia au datoria să asigure supravegherea ca din contextul emitent să pătrundă în cel receptor operele literar-artistice cele mai reprezentative şi să fie traduse şi comentate profesionist.
