This article included documents about of the Romanian Principalities during the Russian-Turkish War of 1768–1774, which have used for the first time in Romanian and Russian-language historiography. There are relationships between the Divans of Moldova and Valahia (supreme judicial and executive agency), police officers of the tsynut (executive power) with Russian military. Special attention focused on the supply of provisions, forage, carts, labor and other duties by the police officers, what were imposed on the inhabitants of the Prinipality. An unknown document called the list of the police officers of Principality of Moldova of all 24 tsynuts of December 31, 1772 is published for the first time. |
