At  the karakul sheep breeding farm specialized in raising and breeding of lambs of sur colour  was performed the study of qualitative pelt of lambs. At stud  were used breeding rams of colours sur and gray of elite class, with flat curl and costal type . During the year 2013 were obtained 182 lambs , including 91 sur 77 black, 14 gray and  for the year  2014 respectively  210 lambs among that 120 sur , 66 black and 24 gray.The total lambs ranking on the  batch of lambs on reference period constituted  (elite and I class) 83,9% and owned types of curl requested flat, costal,jacket at  94,5%. The velvety and the  gloss of curls at lambs for the year 2014 constituted 7.46 ± 0.11 and 7.44 ± 0.11 and veridicallyl increased by 11,5 and 12,5% (P <0,001)  indexes of the year 2013. Body weight of lambs in year 2014 allowed for reproduction is quite satisfactory amounting to age of 6-7 months at male lambs 45,7 ± 1,7 kg and female lambs 38,52 ± 0,46 kg.
