The goal and objectives of the study have been realized by a research of the essence of the institution of individual’s identification attributes, focusing on identification of an individual by surname, domicile, civil status, by their entering in the civil status acts by civil registry offices.Having analyzed the provisions of effective legislation and doctrinal concepts, we have proposed to supplement the specialized legal literature with a research, which reflects the method of organization of individual’s identification attributes.  We consider the research topicsince it is oriented towards the minute research of the identification attributes of the natural person as well as of the civil status organs, that make the present work to be qualified as a distinctive study by the theoretic approach and the practical applicability of the national and international legislation in the referred domain. The means serving to the individualization of the natural person and are regulated by law are called identification attributes.
