The objective of our research is to study some of immunological reactivity parameters in patients with a combination of pulmonary tuberculosis and toxocariasis influenced by antiparasitic treatment. The study involved 42 patients of different sex and age with pulmonary tuberculosis in association with toxocariasis. Patients were divided into two groups: 16 of them received anti-tuberculosis and antiparasitic treatment (study group) and 26 pacients – only antituberculosis treatment (control group). All patients underwent the complex immunological examination. Parameters of immunological reactivity state (total hemolytic complement activity, parameters of NBT test, phagocytic number and phagocytic index, the presence of IgG-antibody against antigen Toxocara, functional activity of lymphocytes (T cells and B cells) and their manifestations statistically significant show the more effective dynamics of the clinical course disease in the study group compared with patients in the control group |
