<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'>Bio-R as Remedy in the Complex Treatment of Corneal Ulcer
The aim of the study was to evaluate the therapeutic efficiency of Bio-R in the complex treatment of corneal ulcers. The study included 40
patients who were randomized into two comparable groups: the main group, which included 20 patients with corneal ulcers taking Bio-R in
addition to the basic therapy, and the control group, which included 20 patients taking only the basic therapy. It was established that Bio-R, in
addition to the basic therapy, produces a more rapid resolution of the exudative-destructive inflammatory reaction and a smaller, less intensive
corneal defect.

Целью исследования было изучение эффективности применения Bio-R в комплексном лечении больных с язвой роговицы. В
исследование включено 40 пациентов, которые составили 2 рандомизированные группы: основную составили 20 больных с язвой
роговицы, получавших Bio-R в сочетании с базисной терапией и группу контроля – 20 больных, получавших только базисную
терапию. Было установлено, что включение Bio-R в состав базисной терапии приводит к более быстрому купированию экссудативно-
деструктивной воспалительной реакции и способствует формированию, меньшего по площади и интенсивности, помутнения
роговицы.
