The functionality of librarian’s Ethical Code is determined by the theoretical and methodological framework, which supports it. This framework reflect the motivation, the importance, the Code’s construction, the principles, the basic concept, the reference to international practices, the spotlight of national aspects, the field relations, the degree of “binding” etc.
