The purpose of the work was to monitor and improve the condition of the parodontum in cases of dento-maxillary anomalies through complex medicamentary orthodontic treatment. Parodontal diseases were diagnosed in 78.05% of the cases with dento-maxillary anomalies. The orthodontic treatment utilized fixed appliances with slot .022” brackets, Straight-wire technique, individualized Roth prescription, and removable appliances with mechanical and functional action. The parodontal therapy included topical administration of BioR medicine, 0.1% gel. The posttreatment parodontal recovery presented different results dependent on adherence to the program of treatment and the various types of orthodontic apparatus applied. The study showed superior results in 80.8% of the patients treated with fixed appliances and 61.5% of those treated with removable appliances, compared to those given complex orthodontic treatment with fixed appliances.

Целью работы было улучшение состояния пародонта при зубочелюстных аномалиях посредством проведения комплексного, ортодонтически-медикаментозного лечения. При первичном осмотре были выявлены заболевания пародонта у 78,05% пациентов с зубочелюстными аномалиями. Ортодонтическое лечение проводилось с помощью несъемных аппаратов в технике прямой дуги с индивидуализированными элементами и со съемными аппаратами с механическим и функциональным действием. Пародонтальное лечение включало местное применение препарата BioR, гель 0,1%. Выздоровление наступило у 61,5% пациентов, лечённых пластинками и 80,8% − с несъемными аппаратами.
