The article presents a comparative analysis on the equitability of the professional training of women and their opportunities in the labor market compared to men. Educational attainment is an important indicator of the qualitative development of the nation. Besides, it represents one of the three components that are used in calculating Human Development Index (HDI). In 2012, Moldova ranked on 113 of 186 countries in the world included in the classification, but reported on Gender Development Index she lost 18 positions of HDI ranking. In recent years, the Republic of Moldova recorded a steady decline in the Gender Gap Index, which is determined mainly by losses in economic participation and political empowerment of women. Among people with higher education in our country, women are over 56% and among those with specialized secondary education, about 64%. This is a huge potential for human development and personal development of women as a social group. Meanwhile, women's educational resources aren’t use to maximum efficiency.
