The research presents an empirical analysis of the performance of European neutral states, Austria, Finland and Sweden, at the international arena during the Cold War. Th e study was focused on these states since their neutralities were either the Bi-polarity’s product (Austria, Finland) or the necessity to strategically adapt itself in Bi-polarity (Sweden). Th e comparative investigations is conducted to identify and explain recently-historical similarities and differences of these states’ neutrality foreign policies in order to understand current and future tendencies of European neutral states in the framework of modern international security.
