In this article author hav an attempt to elucidate a little know problem, insufficiently explored, till know is made, that is moldavian contribution in the First World War. The author shows the process of participations of the moldavians in the different battles. At the same time, the heroic deeds of soldiers and officers which died for the victory. The development of the First World War in 1914-1917 and the moldavian people’s participation in it is elucidated in the article as well. The process of forming of basarabian’ s detachments in the ranks of the Russian regular troops is observed. Mainly the question about 14-th infantry division. At the same time the examples of the soldier ’s participation in different military operations, their importance in the general context of the war, and their feats of arms is adduced as well. The moldavian’s participation in the First World War had contributed heavily to the final victory.
