Rezumat

Along centuries, translation played a noticeable role in knowledge spreading and access to other people's cultural heritage, both in western and eastern Romania. The specificity of Bassarabia contributed to consider this territory as a crossroads of various cultures, which is reflected, in many aspects, by its authors. Therefore, it seems interesting, from our point of view, to try to visualize the concordances and differences that exist between this romanic language used in Moldova – it is a variety of Rumanian – and French, through some texts that enlighten (the evolution) of ways of thinking. Indeed, in an ever changing world, everyone has to adapt to its time, integrating its past and facing a future that must be shaped with all Europe, in order to have access to its full identity. Francophony, as a promoter of cultural diversity and respect of all people, encourages all literatures, including the one of Bessarabia. It is one of the reasons why the indestructible links of friendship between France and Moldova must be maintained and/or revitalized.
