Some people because of their features are more likely to become victims than other people, and the elderly population is certainly part of them. Describing specific features of the older people convinced us once again of the high victimal vulnerability of that category of public. The victimization of the elderly people take forms that are very various, therefore the personality and behavior of the elderly populace vary accordingly to crime whose victims they were. In case of theft the victims are characterized mostly by too much credulity. If we speak about offense of robbery victims can have initiative-positive, negative-passive and negativeactive behavior. In case of fraud victims usually have a neutral behavior. Such behaviors also have most victims of the crime of rape. Welfare serves as a ground for murder. The state of helplessness and neutral behavior catch the attention of the serial killers. The elderly people are ideal victims in the case of home violence. The necessity to develop and implement victimological prevention measures is obvious and urgent; especially given that in the Republic of Moldova there is an advanced process of demographic aging of the population.
