În lucrare se menționează caracteristice probabiliste de performanţă din domeniul teoriei aşteptării, astfel ca repartiţia şirului de aşteptare, volumul de lucru, perioada de ocupare, probabilităţile stărilor, timpul de sistem, etc. Se prezintă exemple de expresii analitice şi modelări numerice pentru unele din caracteristicile menţionate pentru sistemul de tip polling cu schimb nenul semi-Markov al stărilor şi aşteptare nelimitată. Rezultatele pentru acest model sunt obţinute în termenii transformatelor Laplace, Laplace-Stieltjes şi funcţii generatoare.

The paper mentions probabilistic performance characteristics in the field of queueing theory, such as the distribution of the queue, workload, busy period, state probabilities, system time, etc. Examples of analytical expressions and numerical modeling are presented for some of the mentioned characteristics for the polling system with semi-Markov non-zero state change and unlimited expectation. The results for this model are obtained in terms of Laplace, Laplace-Stieltjes transforms and generating functions.
