The requirement to analyze in details in the modern constitutional practice in Romania and in the Republic of Moldova, as in other countries is directly connected to the trend of legal regulation optimization of social relations in the context of multidimensional renewal of the economic, social, political and spiritual life, increasing efficiency of Constitution impact on social processes. A big importance it is assigned to the implementation process analyses of Constitution. It is underlined the fact that the activity of current law making process imply the problem of knowledge and the impact of the Constitution on the law making politics, but also on the enforcement practice. From this perspective, it is important to determine the place and the role of the Constitution in the national legal system, its importance in the amendment of the constitutional law, identification of some constitutional norms peculiarities and the specifics of their application for fundamental social relations. In this meaning, it is proposed to define the category of “Constitutional functions” description of the forms of their appreciation of their significance for the selection of methods of statutory regulation of fundamental social relations.
