Opportunity of extension of the Cobleni Natural Reserve. The Reserve is situated on the right bank of the Dniester River, 3 km north of Lopatna Village and occupies 33.5 ha. It represents a beautiful mountainous-like landscape with a varied
vegetation that includes some endangered and vulnerable species. It is proposed to enlarge the Reserve up to 100 ha at the expense of the flood plain meadow down the river where a gopher colony and the nests of swans, egrets and other rare birds are situated. |
