Rezumat

The article presents 23 Greek amphora stamps discovered in the last 10 years in the area of the ancient city of Callatis, during archaeological excavations conducted by one of the authors of this article. The artifacts come from six surveyed locations: the area of the flattened tumuli from Arsa, the Hagieni forest, the Castelul de Apă area, the western area of the Coloniști neighborhood (Mangalia), the former fish farm Limanu, and La Movile area. All the stamps are of Sinopean origin, covering the chronological framework between the 3rd decade of the 4th century BC and the 1st decade of the 2nd century BC. Most of the items in this lot are magistrates' stamps, while only two being potter΄s stamps. It should be noted that most of the stamps are dated in the 3rd century BC, which in general terms, reflects the period of maximum commercialization of liquid goods from Sinope (wine and olive oil) in the northwestern and western Pontic region.
