CdGa S belongs to the ternary II-IJ12-V'14 semiconductors with defect chalcopyrite structure. In spite of the existence of a high amount of stoichiometric vacancies in those materials, exciton lines have been recently revealed in reflection spectra of CdGa2S4 and CdGaZSe4 /1 to 4/. The present note presents first experimental evidence for the excitonic luminescence in CdGa2S4. |
