The demands of the contemporary world are increasingly challenging. In order to help our pupils face the ensuing difficulties, we teachers have the duty to guide them in making the right connections between school subjects. Their success will be guaranteed only if they learn to solve issues through linking the school subjects efficiently. Here comes the role of the integrated curriculum, which is aimed especially at this. When teaching Romanian language and literature, we are based on three specific domains: language, literature, and communication. During the lesson, the teacher may use the strategy of integrating the elements of reading with communication. This strategy would give pupils the opportunity to develop both their oral skills and their personalities.
