În articolul “Raţionalitatea procesului social-istoric” autorul supune analizei un fenomen social complex – libertatea individului. Reieşind din complexitatea fenomenului, filosofii şi savanţii, liderii diferitor mişcări social-politice i-au oferit diverse interpretări. Analiza diferitor abordări şi interpretări ale libertăţii individului îi permit autorului să descifreze secretele relaţiilor ce se stabilesc între comunitate şi individ, care permit ambelor părţi să-şi menţină autonomia. Din moment ce autorul îşi propune să justifice teza: volumul cunoştinţelor asimilate de către individ reprezintă măsura libertăţii lui, investigaţia desfăşurată îşi atinge scopul. Semnificaţia şi actualitatea acesteia, după cum menţionează şi autorul, rezidă în elucidarea legităţilor şi principiilor democratizării vieţii publice. Eficienţa funcţionării democraţiilor contemporane depinde, în mare măsură, de participarea activă a cetăţenilor la procesul decizional, de alegerea raţională a acestora.

In the article “The rationality of the social-historical process” the author analyzes the individual freedom, a complex and social phenomenom. Judging from the complexity of this phenomenon, philosophers and scientists, leaders of various political and social movements, have given various interpretations. Analysis of different approaches and interpretations of individual freedom allow the author to decode the secrets of relations established between the community and the individual, giving the possibilty to the both sides to maintain autonomy. Since the author seeks to justify the thesis concerned with the fact that the amount of knowledge acquired by the individual represents the measure of his freedom, the conducted investigation reaches its purpose. The significance and timeliness of the thesis, as the author mentions, lies in elucidating the principles and the laws of democratization of the public life. Efficient functioning of contemporary democracies depends largely on the active participation of citizens in the decision-making process, and on their rational choice.
