Diaspora is an important changeover for any country, in view of its contribution to maintaining the economic system through remittances and its potential for investment in state development. The evolution of this research field was not a linear one, but rather the product of different perspectives with different objectives. This article seeks to understand the diaspora phenomenon in the contemporary world and the appreciation of this phenomenon, both on a national scale and on an international scale. Many theories and approaches of the “diaspora” concept have made it a contested term, which increases the interest in studying it, and author will test some of them in this paper.
