Nous étudions le fonctionnement du silence en tant que partie de la sémantique textuelle à travers un ouvrage qui est bien original d’après sa forme et son contenu, notamment, le roman intitulé À toi, ayant deux auteurs: Kim Thúy et Pascal Janovjak. Ce texte issu d’une correspondance par messages électroniques entre ses auteurs parvient finalement à prendre les contours d’un roman sous la forme d’un dialogue chargé de diverses marques du silence ou encore de l’élocution supposée. Nous analysons le rôle des coénonciateurs dans le tissage communicationnel qui entraîne l’étude des stratégies de la séduction, de l’affectivité, de l’intersubjectivité à travers les distances et le temps. Nous essayons donc d’interpréter le mode d’oscillation des frontières entre le dit et le non-dit et la polyphonie des sens qui en résultent dans un roman épistolaire numérique à travers l’original en français, en appelant pour certains arguments à sa traduction en roumain.

We are investigating the functioning of silence as a part of textual semantics across a work that is quite original in its shape and content, specifically the novel entitled À toi (To you), having two authors: Kim Thuy and Pascal Janovjak. This text, which is the result of an email correspondence between its authors, eventually managed to take the outline of a novel in the form of a dialogue loaded with various markings of silence, or else, assumed speech (discourse).We analyse the role of the co-enunciators in the communicational weaving which triggers the study of the strategies of seduction, of affectivity, and of intersubjectivity across the distances and time. Thus, we attempt to interpret the oscillation mode of the frontiers between the said and the unsaid, as well as the polyphony of meanings which occur in a digital epistolary novel throughout the original in French, calling for certain arguments to its translation into Romanian.
