The purpose of this study is to analyze the path taken by the judicial system of the Republic of Moldova and in this con-text the protection of human rights and freedoms. However, building the rule of law and reforming justice must be based on the values of respect for human dignity, democracy, and respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms. The au-thors, classifying the path taken by the justice system of the Republic of Moldova, classify it in three stages, characterizing them respectively and emphasizing the key conditions that lead to genuine justice. The authors, highlighting the problems of the justice sector, come up with a set of proposals and recommendations that lead to ensuring the administration of jus-tice in the Republic of Moldova, ensuring respect for human rights. In conclusion, it is emphasized that only by respecting the fundamental human rights and freedoms can true justice be carried out in the Republic of Moldova.
