Rezumat | ||||||
Eminescu is a completely special case and his uniqueness forces a rethinking of him in a broad context of coordinates, both national and universal. He happily encountered German culture, which, as is well known, exerted a wholly beneficial influence on him precisely because of its catalytic nature. Affinities of the Eminiscian creation are with the literary of Novalis. What justifies the closeness between the two is also the structural data or "the philosophical condition under which the poetic discourse is formulated". Eminescu believed in love and couple like Novalis, that's why he adopted the motif of the "blue flower" as a symbol of fulfillment. A symbol taken over is the night star. Both poets see in the night not only a suggestive climate and a poetic atmosphere, but a real magical principle. |
