Proverbs from our ancestors, which contain a certain judgment, whose speaker is unknown, and which are used in plain speech, give information about the humor of different cultures, the way they perceive life and the subconscious. Idioms, on the other hand, are at the forefront of the elements that make up the vocabulary of that language, such as the words of a language and the proverbs, reduplications, stereotypes and other forms of expression formed with these words. Proverbs and idioms are formulaic words that contain general judgments based on natural observations on different situations and aspects of both humanity and nature. The reason for the production of folklore products stems from their duties in the life of the society. This task is for fun or utility, but necessarily depends on lifestyle. Since proverbs and idioms are a part of these products, women, who are a facet of life, are also the subject. In this study, the roles of women in North Macedonian Turkish proverbs and idioms will be examined.
