The research work is devoted to the criminological characteristics of recidivism in Ukraine in today's conditions. In order to clarify the criminological characteristics, an analysis of the state of recidivism over the past five years (2018-2022) was conducted. The criminological characteristics of recidivism make it possible to propose measures to prevent recidivism. In addition, the impact of the introduction of martial law in Ukraine and forecasts for the development of the penitentiary system in the future are taken into account. Reducing the level of recidivism is one of the tasks related to the general reduction of the level of crime in Ukraine. |
