Rezumat

For teenagers with disability the unit that determines the psychosocial adaptation is the occupation, particularly professional option. Work as indispensable part of the occupation, has a significant importance in the social inclusion of teenagers with disabilities and play an important role in psychosocial adaptation. The philosophy of occupational therapy is based on theory, which holds that man is a being whose development is influenced by practical activities in which he is involved, but activity is determined by motivation that affects individual's physical and mental ability. The human life is a continuous process of adaptation, an adaptation that supports survival and self-updating.
