Ethical consumption is the purchase and use of goods, motivated not only by the values they offer, but also by moral factors. It takes into account both the conditions of production and the consequences of using those goods. There are three types of ethical consumption: positive ethical consumption, negative ethical consumption and discursive ethical consumption. Ethical consumption is desirable for the development of society, for the mitigation of environmental problems, but in front of it appear several problems and obstacles. Some of these are easier to overcome, and others, such as lack of or insufficient information about products, services or the activity of companies, can only be overcome by combining the efforts of civil society and the state. |
