Rezumat

Introduction: According to the opinion of the professor SergiuGhinda (1992), infectious diseases in anamnesis present, by themselves, an evolutional process in the human organism and often lead to polysensibilization. The goal of the work was to study the level of organism sensibilization in relation to bacterial and viral antigens in patients with discogenic lumbar radiculopathies. Materials and methods:The study mentioned included 63 patients with operated discogenicradiculopathies – the first group, the second group – 21 patients with non-operated discogenic lumbar radiculopathies. Cell-mediated responses used response to blast transformation of lymphocytes with antigens of mycobacteria of tuberculosis, staphylococcus, streptococcus, and pneumococcus, as well as data of humoralresponses Results of the study: Analysis of diseases in anamnesis shows that, amongst patients examined, there were more often those ones that had had viral affections (ARVI, flue, herpes, hepatitis, measles) in the past. According to frequency of disease incidence, it is followed by infectious diseases of bacterial etiology (MPN, cutaneous furuncles, purulent ear diseases, etc.), at the second place, and then by rather rare diseases of mycobacterial etiology (tuberculosis), autoimmune diseases and allergies. The level of senisbilization in relation to antibodies of tuberculosis mycobacteria (tuberculin), antigens of staphylococcus, pneumococcus and Herpes simplex was high in patients from the first group, at the moment of hospitalization, in comparison to healthy persons (p<0.001). As for patients from the second group, there were determined the lowest indices of sensibilization to bacterial and viral antigens, both in comparison to other groups and healthy persons. Conclusion: Patients with discogenic lumbar radiculopathies have polysensibilization to pathological bacterial and viral agents.
