The article is devoted to the first publication of the unique art moment from ancient Thracia. The silver rhyton of the beginning of the IV century B. C. was discovered in Bulgaria about 140 years ago and then came to Russia. It was made by a Thracian master and then was presented to the king Kotys. Rhyton is originated from either an excavated barrow or a hidden treasure found by chance. It is being kept in a private collection. |
