Rezumat | ||||||
The contribution of the Bulgarian monk Paisius of Hilandar in the growth of the Bulgarian National Revival (second half of the 18th C.) and the role and meaning of the activity of the Bessarabian Gagauz priest Mikhail Chakir in the formation of Gagauz ethnic and cultural identity in Budjak (beginning 20th C. - 1938) is analyzed in histo rical-comparative context. Attention to the common and specifics of their biographies and national-patriotic activity is stressed. The specifics of the influence of the work of M. Chakir on the ethno-cultural and ethno-political processes in Moldavia (second half of the 20th C. - beginning 21st C.) is underlined. |
