The motivation of research of this problem is expressed that the Moldavian society endures the new social and economic and political relations arising in the course of integration of the Republic of Moldova in the European system of values. But the status of the woman in the conditions of transformation remains inconsistent and not tendentious. Gender equality isn't a women's issue; this concept has to extend on men and women and fully to mention both that, and others. Equality of women and men is considered on the one hand as a human rights issue, and on the other hand as the precondition and the indicator of a socially oriented sustainable development. Democratic and tolerant society has to exist on the basis of a gender egalitarnost that will allow to eliminate all social barriers interfering the person to be shown as self-actualized personality, and also to create equal social opportunities for realization of equality of men and women.
