Their music reflects the transformations of the century.<br />It is marked by various currents and renewals of musical language. France is represented<br />by Claude Debussy, a prominent composer of Impressionism, and Neoclassicism has Erich Satie as its<br />mentor, followed by Darius Milhaud, Francois Poulenc, etc. Pietro Mascagni, Ruggero Leoncavallo,<br />Giacomo Puccini and others are active in Italy, and Germany has Paul Hindemith, Carl Orff, etc. as<br />representatives. Bela Bartok and Zoltan Kodaly are notable Hungarian composers, contemporary<br />with the Spanish Manuel de Falla or the English Gustav Holst, Edward Elgar and the list could go on.<br />They and many others have renewed the modern musical language, creating true musical<br />masterpieces.</p></description> </descriptions> <formats> <format>application/pdf</format> </formats> </resource>
