Rezumat

In the world literature, the gallery of the "culpables without culpability" represents a par ticular chapter, being used in an original way by writers belonging to various epochs. Sofocles, Shakespeare, Dostoevsky will illustrate in different ways culpability assumed in the absence of a real culpability. In tbis article we study some aspects of (non)culpability in Kafka's works, baving in view bis literature of confession and bis fiction. The Praguese author approaches the ontologica} culpability from the point of view of CEdipus complex. The culpability of existing, the initial culpability, tbe metapbysical one, the culpability of ignorance, the culpability of nonculpability are only a few of the ways we "filter" Kafka's creation.
