Rezumat

The current period is particularly complex and, in many ways, unique. This period is characterized by numerous and intense changes in all fields of activity both scientifically and applicatively. Stability, which predominated and was a priority only a few decades ago, is a thing of the past, as fundamental changes have taken place, in the sense that change has become the rule. Contemporary society is marked by a significant change in social values and norms. Many of what was considered unacceptable a few decades ago are now seen in order. It gives the impression that we are on the threshold of the birth of a new type of culture, based on completely different ideas about good and evil, beautiful and ugly. Every day more and more insistently on the upper level of the value hierarchy are located the economic values. At the moment, the national legislation for the protection of children's rights is marked by short, medium and even long-term objectivity. Amendments to numerous family and child legislation in the second half of 2020 have broadened the powers of guardianship authorities, introduced other forms of child protection whose parent or parents are in another locality in the country, or from abroad, as well as other special child protection changes. We consider the changes included in the legislation to be justified, and the academic environment is obliged to plan the training activities of future employees in the field of assistance and protection in order to become competitive and efficient on the labor market. At the same time, we notice a high rationalization of the activities, of the resources, of the time in which the mechanisms for ensuring the observance of children's rights are legislated.
