Rezumat

Education is a national priority and a key factor in the sustainable development of a knowledge-based society. The mission of education is to satisfy the educational requirements of the individual and of society. And two of the fundamental principles of education are the principle of ensuring equality and the principle of social inclusion. Environmental changes in the life of any child cause changes in the child's behavior, including the adaptation to the new requirements. Research on school adaptation of children with typical development demonstrates that they may face certain difficulties in this regard, caused by a number of factors. The preliminary results of the research in question demonstrate the difficulty of adaptation and school integration of children with disabilities, as well, generated by certain factors. Thus, early detection and recovery through personalized psycho-pedagogical assistance becomes a condition for successful adaptation and integration.
