The article assessesthe currentsocial impact of the pandemic crises on the basis of three main axes: heterogeneity, unity, and solidarity. As a result of the evaluation, we argue that the state of the pandemic crisis has outlined the need to reset the relationship between state institutions/authorities and citizens, by a common goal for both sides – to diminish the negative impact of the pandemic crises. Consequently, in line with this common objective, we argue that coordinated actions and synergies between the efforts of the government/authorities and citizens are necessary. Therefore, through joint actions, the current situation can be properly addressed. Additionally, the responsibility and rationality, seen as important benchmarks of the current social organization, point out the main directions of action and the appropriate state policies for the conditions of Moldovan society, necessary to increase the degree of civic involvement, accountability, and good governance. |
