<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'><p>The aim of our research is to investigate the phraseological units concerning time which contain in their structure different categories of archaisms (lexical, phonetic, gramma-tical, semantic and derivational) and historicisms. The possibility of archaic elements to be component parts of phraseological units involves the distinguishing features of these expres-sions: polilexity, reproducibility, stability, idiomaticity, complexity and expressiveness.</p></description>
