Rezumat

In terms of linking the Republic of Moldova to EU standards, it is advisable to promote the confidence of the population in the financial market by ensuring a stable and transparent economic environment. Reaching EU standards dictates the development of the financial market in terms of the need to ensure stable economic growth and the promotion of economic and social reforms. Initially, the financial market in the Republic of Moldova has developed from the need to restructure the economy, the process of transformation the property of the state and the administrative-territorial unitsin private ownership, the correspondence of the modern requirements of the national economy and the world standards. The objectives of the financial market are attracting investments and increasing the investment attractiveness of the Republic of Moldova. The financial market in the Republic of Moldova is made up of banking and non-banking institutions. The banking institutions are represented by licensed commercial banks, which are regulated by the National Bank, and the non-banking sector consists of the central association, microfinance and savings and loan associations, which are supervised and regulated by the National Commission for Financial Markets. In the Republic of Moldova, in order to create a contemporary financial market, close to EU standards, it is necessary to eliminate the problems and valorize the existing opportunities, especially those that are related to maintaining economic stability and the availability of international organizations and donor countries to grant technical assistance for its development.
