В статье обсуждается проблема взаимосвязи эндемического зоба с содержанием йода в окружающей среде Молдавии. Показано, что имеются существенные противоречия данных о содержании йода в компонентах окружающей среды и оценки риска возникновения эндемического зоба. Обоснован вывод о необходимости проведения исследований комплекса зобогенных факторов, воздействующих на население Молдавии.

The article discusses the problem of the relationship between endemic goiter and iodine content in the environment of Moldova. It is shown that there are significant contradictions between the data on the content of iodine in environmental components and the assessment of the risk of endemic goiter. The conclusion about the need to conduct research on the complex of goitrogenic factors affecting the population of Moldova is substantiated
