The dialectological archive of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova has a history of six decades. This archive reflects the scientific interest of dialectologists in researching the Romanian dialects spoken in the east of the Prut. Based on field dialectological research, eight volumes of linguistic atlas have been developed. Also, about 3000 ethno and sociotexts are recorded on magnetic tapes. Notebooks with answers received from informants and magnetic tapes (floppy disks) are the main sets of materials of the dialectological archive.

Arhiva dialectologică de la Academia de Ştiinţe a Moldovei are o istorie de șase decenii. Această arhivă reflectă interesul științific al dialectologilor pentru cercetarea graiurilor românești vorbite la est de Prut. În baza cercetărilor dialectologice de teren, au fost elaborate opt volume de atlas lingvistic. De asemenea, sunt înregistrate pe benzi magnetice circa 3000 de etno- și sociotexte. Caietele cu răspunsurile primite de la informatori și benzile magnetice (dischetele) reprezintă principalele seturi de materiale ale arhivei dialectologice.
