Vibrato is perhaps most associated with the intuitive aspect of activity, the immediate, subtle embodiment of the living breath of music, personal artistic ideas and experiences. It is in him that the individual essence of the violinist's performing talent, his instrumental “voice”, are most vividly manifested.
