Rezumat

Nowadays, due to many problems associated with various diseases, such as cancer, the optimization of the production and use of electricity and other types of household issues, polymer chemistry is gaining wider horizons for application. This study examined copolymers based on water-soluble forms of zinc phthalocyanine. Transition metal phthalocyanines are known to have pronounced photosensitive properties, which are used in the prevention of tumor diseases in PDT, and also manifest themselves as bactericidal agents in various compositional compounds with water-soluble polymers [2].The beneficial qualities of phthalocyanines cannot be fully utilized due to their lack of solubility in various organic solvents, as well as its complete absence in water. This problem was solved by us after obtaining a water-soluble form of zinc phthalocyanine with a copolymer of acrylic chloride and N-vinylpyrrolidone, which is non-toxic and soluble in water, which also allows us to suppose it to be used it in many areas of medicine, as well as to improve the properties we need, with the proposed formation of zinc tetravinyloxyphthalocyanine (Image) [1, 3].figureImage. Synthesis of the copolymer of N-vinylpyrrolidone with zinc vinyloxyphthalocyanine:1) Synthesis of copolymer of N-vinylpirrolidone and acrylic chloride;2) Grafting the obtained polymer with zinc phthalocyanine The obtained compound was tested with the prospect of using in PDT [4], but most important are studies of its bactericidal properties, carried out on some groups of bacteria, such as S. Aureus, S. Epidermalis, S. Aeruginosa, Acinetobacter Baumani. Due to obtained water-solubility of compound, there are many further ways to study it, with the prospects of its use in medicine.
