One of the consequences of the development of civilization is the filling of the environment with electromagnetic fields of different frequency and amplitude. Magnetobiology is a field of knowledge that considers phenomena that accompany the interaction of permanent and variable magnetic fields with biological systems from the molecular level to the organism as a whole. Unjustifiably little attention is paid to the weak static magnetic field (WSMF) of the Earth. The magnetic field (MF) of the Earth has a unique property – a huge penetrating ability in all biological systems; it is in this field that the genesis of all biological objects occurs. That is why the issues related to teaching and memory in the WSMF are particularly relevant. A convenient model for studying the effect of WSMF on the behavioral functions of organisms is Drosophila melanogaster. Drosophila genes responsible for cognitive characteristics are 75% consistent with the human genome. To study the impact of the Earth's WSMF, a closed cylindrical shielding chamber was made, coated with several layers of amorphous magnetically soft material. The magnitude of the induction of the geomagnetic field in the chamber is attenuated by a factor of 35. The agnts3 stocks (mutation for the gene limk1), Canton-S (wild type) were used as the object of the study. LIMK1, a key enzyme of actin remodeling, is involved in cellular signaling and recognizes the proteins of the families of receptors and ion channels. The agnts3 mutation is localized within the 11B region of the Drosophila X chromosome, which contains the CG1848 gene for LIM kinase 1. This mutation disrupts defensive olfactory training, as well as learning and memory with conditioned courtship suppression paradigm. Disturbances of the medium-term memory during the action of WSMF in the wild-type Canton-S stock are demonstrated. On the contrary, in the agnts3 mutant, this stressful effect leads to the restoration of the learning ability and memory formation. The obtained results testify to the role of the cascade of actin remodeling in the formation of the stress reaction to the WSMF. Supported by Program RAS 1.21P.
