As a result of the address no. 03-5219 of 08.07.2010 submitted to the Supreme Court of Justice of the Ministry of Justice, by which it is required the exposal of the opinion on the Draft Law regarding the modification and completion of the Contravention code, marking out the effort of initiation of the activity regarding legislative proposals with reference to this legislative important act, we are honored to communicate: The opinion referring to the Contravention code, which contains arguments and reasons for supporting the idea related to the elaboration and promotion of the reform of contravention law that has been exposed in a set of publications, published in the National Institute of Justice Journal, no. 4(11), 2009, pages 59-69 and in Law and Life no. 1, January 2010 pages 11-22. The application for reasoning the opinion about the reform of contravention law, is exposed and argued in the pages of the National Law Journal, no. 2-6, 2010 and consists in the elaboration and adoption of a new legislative act – the Code on contraventions. In the context of the aforementioned opinion, on the basis of the article 16 of the Law on legislative acts, we propose to form a working group composed from competent and responsible persons, with the aim to elaborate and present the Draft Law concerning the adoption of the Code on contraventions.
