Both the European Convention on Human Rights and the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova provides freedom of expression. Freedom of speech implies the possibility of each person to express their opinions and views on an issue even if these opinions are positive or negative, but these expressions must respect the honor and dignity of the person. The organs of the mass-media have freedom of dissemination of information, and the State is obliged not to violate these rights. |
