Although the Roman statues of deities found in Romania do not represent the official art (like the statuary of the emperors and the funeral) and they do not constitute a direct political propaganda, they are convincing examples of religious propaganda, demonstrating the existence of Roman religion in Dacia and Scythia Minor (today known as Dobrogea). Especially since the examples are many and varied, all the major deities and almost all the secondary ones were represented in sculpture ronde bosse, not only the supreme god, Jupiter (the god whose worship refers to the official cult of the Emperor).

Chiar dacă nu reprezintă artă oficială (ca statuara împăraţilor şi cea funerară) şi nu constituie aşadar propagandă politică directă, statuile divinităţilor romane găsite pe teritoriul României sunt exemple convingătoare de propagandî religioasă, demonstrând existenţa în Dacia Traiana şi în Scythia Minor (Dobrogea de astăzi) a religiei romanilor pe aceste meleaguri. Cu atât mai mult cu cât exemplele sunt multe şi variate, toate divinităţile principale şi aproape toate cele secundare fiind găsite reprezentate în sculptura ronde bosse, nu doar zeul suprem Iupiter (zeu al cărui cult face trimitere la cultul oficial al împăratului).
