This paper presents a situation of lexical fragments from the beginning of some words, as they are registered in the “Dictionary of the Romanian Language” old series (DA) (vol. A and B) and a classification of them into categories, tries to explain why they were analyzed in separate articles or entries in the DA and shows how they were marked in the CLRE interface. It also presents short references, through comparisons, to the situation in the new series of the “Dictionary of the Romanian Language”. Thus, in addition to the “whole” words registered in the “Dictionary of the Romanian Language”, the old series, there are also word segments that, in some situations, participate in word formation, and, in others, signal variants of some words of which they are part. These are prefixes, compositional elements and - as we call them in this paper - word beginnings, each of these categories of word segments being included in the Dictionary with a certain purpose. For the moment, out of the three categories of word segments presented before, only the prefixes were noted in the “Romanian Electronic Lexicographic Corpus” (CLRE) in order to follow exactly the rule that the electronic version must be of anastatic type in addition to the printed one, and in within it, only next to some of the prefixes (where they also appear in the printed book) the category was specified before the presentation in the article.

Lucrarea de față prezintă o situație a fragmentelor lexicale de la începutul cuvintelor, așa cum apar ele în „Dicționarul limbii române” seria veche (DA) (vol. A și B), o clasificare a lor pe categorii, încearcă să explice motivul pentru care au fost analizate în articole sau intrări separate în DA și prezintă cum au fost ele marcate în interfața „Corpusului lexicografic ro-mânesc electronic” CLRE. De asemenea, prezintă scurte referiri, prin comparație, la situația din seria nouă a „Dicționarului limbii române”. Astfel, pe lângă cuvintele „întregi” înregis-trate în „Dicționarul limbii române”, seria veche, apar și segmente de cuvinte care în unele situații participă la formarea de cuvinte, iar în altele semnalează variante ale unor cuvinte, din care fac parte. Acestea sunt „prefixe”, „elemente de compunere” și – cum le numim aici – „incipituri de cuvânt”, fiecare dintre aceste categorii de segmente de cuvânt fiind cuprinsă în Dicționar cu un anumit rost. Pentru moment, dintre cele trei categorii de segmente de cuvânt prezentate, doar prefixele au fost notate în „Corpusului lexicografic românesc elec-tronic” (CLRE), pentru a urma întocmai regula că varianta electronică trebuie să fie una de tip anastatic pe lângă cea tipărită, iar, în cadrul acesteia, numai în dreptul unora dintre pre-fixe (acolo unde apare și în cartea tipărită) a fost specificată categoria înainte de prezentarea în articol.
