Rezumat

Noble family Orâş is an old family of Moldavian landowners who during 4 centuries had different high social positions. Representatives of Orâş landowners family were (mare vornic, pârcălab, hatman, şatrar) and other status positions. The documentary support of this information, is the official document of Muntenia's Prince Alexandru Constantin Moruzi, dating the 5th june of 1796. The most important representatives of Orâş family were Ştefan and Constantin Orâş. In 1812 Ştefan, was recognized by Moldavian Boyar Divan as a postelnicel and then as lieutenant. These privileges gave him nobles rights. Other information about Ştefan's biography, we can found in one of the archive documents dating the 12th january of 1824. There is an other document, dating 1st september of 1818, that point to the way of Stefan's becoming landlord of Ruseni village. Constantin Orâş was born on 24 June 1813 in Teleneşti, the Iaşi land. He was baptized by Ignat priest in the Sf. Ilie Church. He studied military in St. Peterburg and became lieutenent. During his military career he was often decorated. In 1861 Constantin Orâş was the own of half of Ruseni village. He died at 22 of December 1885. Heiress were his sisters: Ana Gafenco, Elena Crivoşein şi Maria Malaski.
