The field of psychology in Canada has a history of more than a century. Currently, psychological assistance activities in schools are an essential service in all provinces of the country. School psychologists in Canada work according to the regulations that are approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and the Canadian Association of Psychology (CPA). Canada and Republic of Moldova have different training systems, continuous training, practice for school psychologists. Comparing and contrasting these two systems will help synthesize the recommendations for the development of the psychological assistance service in the educational field in the Republic of Moldova. |
